Etiology

When one of two befriended physicians falls fatally ill, both decide to research a cure for the rare disease in the time they have left.

At first, they make rapid progress – but soon they will no longer know what and, above all, whom to believe.

In their search for a drug, they are sucked into a maelstrom of paranoia that makes them doubt reality and, ultimately, each other.

In 2017, a handful of passionate computer science students in Potsdam had the crazy idea to make a movie. In 2021, our dream finally came true.
